Mehndi - also called as Henna, is temporary body decoration that looks like a tattoo, but isn't. It is fast, easy and painless, and most importantly, it is a beautiful form of natural body decoration.

We, at RoopMehndi, offer mehndi / henna services for Weddings, Body Showers, Diwali, Eid, and other social occasions. We also offer our services simply for the fun and beauty of body decoration. Mehndi is the traditional art of henna painting in India, Middle East and many other countries. You may see it written as mehandi, mehendi, mendhi, or henna, and all of these words describe the same art form. However, you spell it, mehndi is pronounced meh-hen-di (with a soft, dental d sound like "thee").

Henna is a small shrub, and is found in India, Iran, Pakistan, Egypt, and North Africa. The young leaves and twigs are ground into a fine powder, then mixed with hot water and applied to fingernails and hair to give them a reddish-orange color. During hot weather, mehndi / henna acts as a cooling agent when applied to the palms of the hands and the bottoms of the feet, in addition to leaving a deep reddish-brownish color on the skin.
